FAQ's
United States of America and many other countries use the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) test for admissions. It’s also called the Digital SAT while taken online. The SAT measures how prepared students are for college and is run by the College Board. In India, approximately 35 universities accept SAT scores for admissions, and more are joining. SAT scores are now acknowledged in many universities globally. Students with excellent SAT scores can also get scholarships and have their fees waived.
An SAT score above 1,400 is considered good. With a 1400 SAT score, you can apply to some of the best universities around the world.
SAT in 2024, will be held on the following dates: • March 9 • May 4 • June 1 • August 24 • October 5 • November 2 • December 7
There is no negative marking in SAT exam, candidates are advised to attend as many questions as they can.
There is no limit on the number of times you can take the SAT exam.
SAT scores are valid for five years from the test date
Between 400-1600, SAT scores are scored. The sectional break up is: • Math: 200 – 800 • Verbal: 200 – 800
You should get your Digital SAT scores about 3 to 5 days after you take the exam
Many universities prefer to consider ‘maximum scores’ for admissions. A super score comprises the highest sectional scores across all your SAT attempts, summed together.
